About Me
Isilla Iglesia
I have never been interested in photographing appearances.
I am interested in what exists beneath them.
My work is an ongoing exploration of the unconscious, identity and the invisible architecture of human emotion. Using symbolism and conceptual photography, I transform ordinary objects into psychological questions.
I don’t create images to tell people what to think.
I create them because I believe the most powerful photographs are the ones that continue unfolding long after they have been seen.
I am still exploring.
Every photograph is another step into the unknown.
